In this job, knowledge is key and helps the division to make quick decisions and find the optimal balance between cost and the customer needs without jeopardizing Compliance and Quality of the product &amp; processes. In the mix of people, processes, and systems, it is critical to develop a strong communication network that ensures transparency between affiliates, regions and global functions for all supply chain issues. You will work in an international environment and truly act Globally. </span></p><p><span>Withing the larger EPD Supply Chain team with 170+ professionals, we have a EPD Supply Chain Planning team consisting of ~ 25 people in different stages of their careers, located at 2 different locations: Basel (CH) and Zwolle (NL). As a <i>Senior Planner EPD Supply Chain</i>, you will be reporting to the EPD SC Planning Manager.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We seek a proactive and autonomous Supply Chain professional with strong expertise in demand and supply planning. The ideal candidate can work independently while managing commercial forecast changes, coordinating NPIs, and ensuring supply assurance through robust replenishment and inventory strategies. All in line with business strategies, financial plans, capacity constraint and/or contractual commitments. </span></p><p><span>Strong analytical skills, the ability to anticipate risks and develop mitigation scenarios are essential. This role requires excellent cross-functional communication, (external) stakeholder management, and an intrapreneurial mindset. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience are required for this Senior position.</span></p><p></p><p><i>The current open position is for a critical role in our EPD SC Planning team and has a strong focus on Launch excellence given the nature of the portfolio. Ensuring flawless (long term) Planning for new product introductions with (future) Biosimilar Partners, incl. the establishment, onboarding and alignment on critical Abbott processes with these partners (i.e. SC D&amp;OP, Demand reviews, NPI launch execution, Long Range Plan, Capacity reservation).
