Energy Assistant – Part time

 

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

 

£16,621 - £17,496 per year

 

26 hours per week

 

We have a great opportunity for an Energy Assistant to join our Energy team based in Worcester. The Energy Team sits in the Property Services Department and manage the Group utilities, voids, meters, contracts and queries as well as the energy efficiency of the Group’s portfolio. In this role you will be supporting the delivery of Social Housing Decarbonisation and Retrofit works attending the office on occasion.

 

The role of Energy Assistant will include:

  • Supporting Senior Energy Officers with reporting, including gathering SHDF milestone evidence, answering queries in the Energy in box, providing contact, asbestos and alert details
  • Provide statistical information as required to assist managers in target setting, performance monitoring and implementation of improvements
  • Maintain effective filing systems, computer records and processes that enable the accurate recording and timely provision of information, ensuring they are as user friendly and accessible as possible

 

Skills and experiences:

  • NVQ2 in Business Administration, Customer Service or similar
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
  • Some experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads 
  • Working knowledge of working with utilities data
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Basic experience of using energy auditing software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and general internet communications

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £22,375 based on 35 hours per week rising to £23,553 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
