Overall Responsibilities/ Not Limited to the Following:

Equipment and Maintenance Management

• Determine whether broken equipment requires repair or replacement based on condition, cost, and operational impact.
• Gather quotes for replacement equipment and negotiate pricing with preferred vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Coordinate delivery, installation, and setup of new equipment to minimize disruption to restaurant operations.
• Maintain effective communication with restaurant managers and area directors to address sanitation and maintenance concerns and updates.
• Oversee R&M current subcontractor, schedule prioritizing emergency jobs to minimize operational impact.
  • Analyze and enter subcontractor weekly submitted hours, adding detailed notes to assist the accounting team in classifying repair and maintenance expenses accurately.

CMMS Management (Ecotrak)

• Utilize and maintain the CMMS to track maintenance requests, work orders, and asset performance across all locations.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance activities across twenty restaurants, the Support Center, Bakery, Warehouse and Commissary, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Work with CMMS team to ensure work orders, invoices and proposals are sent and approved in a timely manner.

Vendor and Contractor Management

• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with key service providers.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with contractors and service providers to perform quality work within budget and in a timely manner.
• Manage and continuously evaluate preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce downtime.

Emergency Response

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and repair issues, including nights and weekends, when necessary.
• Develop and implement contingency plans to minimize disruption during crisis.

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance operations.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure facilities meet operational needs while adhering to safety standards.
• Regular communication with Operational Leaders and Upper Management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field with a focus on industrial maintenance in the multi-location, geographically dispersed hospitality industry, ideally restaurants which is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance practices.
• Experience supervising teams, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to facility operations.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
• An initiative-taking approach to safety and compliance within the workplace environment.
