Unit Description: Provides professional nursing care to patients with a cancer diagnosis by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. The Staff Nurse II functions as an essential member of the patient care team, working within specialized solid tumor disease sites. This position involves telephone triage of symptoms, patient education, and working closely with the oncologists, social worker, infusion team, and scheduling team to coordinate patient care.
Experience:
1 year experience in relevant clinical area and/or independent in all areas of the Ambulatory RN I accountabilities.
Oncology experience preferred. OCN preferred.
On-Call: Not required
Incentives: $9,000 sign on bonus
