Deliverables
- Designing and implementing controllers for electrical machines
- Aide in tuning controls to verify the function of the new algorithms, to track performance changes as software and machine updates are introduced, and to perform regression tests to ensure no unintentional changes occur in the development process
- Updating and maintaining automated simulations that exercise all aspects of dynamic performance that are influenced by current and future control systems
- Work collaboratively with mechanical, process, and controls automation engineers to define control system capability and establish actuation/sensing requirements
- Integrating physical system models of high-speed roll to roll, converting, calendaring, and powder management systems with intelligent controls of motor drives and advanced sensor designs.
- Create and integrate models, define algorithms, write testing code, and evaluate the performance of algorithms for next generation cell machines
- Designing controllers, modeling of such controllers, and further developing the algorithms in a machine
