We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a caring and reliable respite care provider to support a fun and active child in the afternoons and early evenings. The role focuses on safety supervision, outdoor play, and assisting with daily needs, while creating a positive and engaging environment.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can remain calm, grounded, and supportive while creating a safe, fun, and structured environment. Location: Wittenburg, WIStarting Wage: $14.13/hourSchedule:  Wednesdays & Thursdays starting at 4:00 PM (up to 10 hours/week) Responsibilities• Provide constant safety supervision at home and in the community (e.g., park, outdoor walks).• Support toileting needs: child will communicate when finished; provider must assist with cleaning up.• Engage the child in his favorite activities such as walks, playing with water, and using his toy ranger/hauler.• Use patient communication strategies when setting limits (child responds well when explanations are given).• Provide safe transportation as needed.
Qualifications• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.• Ability to provide attentive, compassionate care.• Comfortable with Spanish (bonus).
Child’s Personality & Interests• Enjoys going on walks, playing with water, and riding/playing with his ranger/hauler.• Responds well to calm explanations when redirecting or saying no. Sound like a fit?We’d love to hear from you!
