Job Description

We are looking for professional, qualified and enthusiastic candidates to take up a full-time position of a Junior IT Systems Administrator to provide daily technical support for our office in Munich. 

Office-based in Munich/Planegg

The scope of responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and diagnosing desktop computer systems and peripheral equipment problems
• IT support operations, including but not limited to receiving and tracking user requests, assigning priority and responsible persons, resolving requests and users’ notification
• Installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades of desktop computer systems and peripherals (e.g., network cards, printers, modems, mice, add-in boards, copiers, etc.)
• Asset management of desktop computer systems (hardware and software inventories, licensing, systems decommissioning, etc.)
• Documentation of system problems and resolutions
• Assistance with providing basic IT training 

Qualifications

• Related experience in systems administration
• Knowledge of basic systems administration tools and processes
• Experience with basic security concepts
• College or University Degree in Computer Science or a related field is desirable but not required
• Full working proficiency in English and German
• Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
• Communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
