Fleet Maintenance Mechanic - Rockford, IL

Prairie Farms Dairy is currently seeking a heavy-duty Fleet Mechanic. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on training from our experienced mechanics and establish yourself in a stable company with over 75 years of success.

Qualifications:

- Knowledge of diesel repair and diagnosis

- Understanding of driveline components and repair

- Certification in A/C repair

- Ability to diagnose and repair air brake systems

- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems

- Conducting Annual Inspections on semi-tractors and trailers

- Performing preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers

Requirements:

- Must have mechanical experience

- Willingness to learn and work with heavy-duty equipment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2 PM, with the potential for Saturday work available (double time per hour for all work on Saturday and Sunday).
