Job Description
Project Manager with Agile experience responsible for overseeing all aspects of creating client SOWs, proposals, and project management for large software applications and platforms. As the Project Manager, you will provide oversight to a team of designers, developers, and engineers while collaborating with a team of clients, partners, and vendors to manage and deliver classified and unclassified projects. This candidate should have experience managing multiple projects, be highly organized and task-oriented, communicate effectively, and be able to lead and inspire others. The candidate should have demonstrated experience implementing and managing an Agile software development framework with work in all areas of software development and supporting multiple aspects within project management and the Software Development Life Cycle.
Requirements
- Implement, enforce, and continually improve Agile & Scrum practices.
- Create a premiere Agile organization and structure to manage and complete project milestones and deliverables.
- Manage all aspects of client projects including the creation of client SOWs and throughout the Software Development Life Cycle to ensure tasks, milestones and deliverables are completed on time, meet quality standards, and client requirements and expectations.
- Work with internal teams to create contract documents such as Statement of Work, Labor Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), and Production Timelines.
- Create and present PowerPoint presentations and decks for client SOW proposals, project update meetings, and demos.
- Oversee a project team of designers, developers, and engineers to ensure completion of all projects, tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
- Continuous client and partner engagement to enhance client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction, while reporting any potential client issues to management.
- Review, analyze, and extract client/project requirements from contracts and SOWs to establish project resources, assignments, and timelines to update and maintain project management systems, resources, and tools.
- Filter and share client information and feedback with internal teams in a timely manner.
- Organize deliverables to client and deliver them through appropriate channels, including file drops, contract documents, design documents, links to project management boards and test beds.
- Understand and ensure all required company, DoD and NSIP security requirements are enforced with all projects as required for classified or unclassified projects.
- Serve as main point of contact to address any client questions, changes, or issues in a timely, competent, and professional manner.
- Conduct quality reviews and help identify, track, and troubleshoot potential development issues or bugs.
- Establish and implement metrics and reporting systems to track project statistics on but not limited to project cost analysis, milestone and task conversion rates, project versus budgeted hours, etc.
- Create project charters to communicate project milestones, goals, challenges, and progress.
- Manage and audit project hours and ensure task timelines are being met within budgeted time, escalating any project and/or task issues to management.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Agile Scrum Master on software development projects.
- Demonstrated technical experience with managing multiple projects, programming, and development resources used in software and development projects.
