This allows us to establish a reputation as leaders of some of the largest and most complex Financial Institutions risks in the market.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Impact You Will Have <br/> Based in Madrid and reporting to the Team Leader of Financial Lines, you will work closely with clients and brokers to develop personalized solutions as well as developing new relationships. You will be responsible for underwriting profitable new and renewal business to meet Financial Lines targets regionally including global elements. Your responsibilities also include negotiating participation, pricing and terms &amp; conditions, acquiring new business and retaining existing business.</p> <p> </p> <p>Some of your specific responsibilities could include:</p> <ul> <li>Underwrite in line with our Financial Lines governance framework - e.g. Underwriting Authorities, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules and Principles</li> <li>Ensure contract certainty is achieved on all accounts at time of inception</li> <li>Drive involvement of functional areas in Underwriting process, including Market Management, Risk Consulting, Claims, Operations</li> <li>Manage referrals from underwriters and re-underwrite complex business as appropriate</li> <li>Contribute to the development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for Financial Lines targets</li> <li>Create and maintain positive relationships with key producers and clients and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. risk managers)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What You’ll Bring to the Role</p> <ul> <li>Experience as an Underwriter, Broker or relevant equivalent in the large corporate international insurance sector</li> <li>Recognized relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level.
