Our client, a leading commercial construction and contracting firm, is seeking a Senior Procurement & Contract Closure Specialist to drive high-value government and commercial contract success.

This is a critical, revenue-focused role for someone who doesn’t just manage bids—but secures the deal . If you understand construction law, government procurement frameworks, and complex contract negotiation, this opportunity will put your expertise front and center.

About the Role

As the Senior Procurement & Contract Closure Specialist, you’ll take ownership of the full post-bid lifecycle— from negotiation to contract execution . You’ll combine your deep knowledge of procurement strategy, contract law, and financial insight to ensure that every deal is compliant, profitable, and strategically aligned. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys driving results and taking accountability for successful closures.

Key Responsibilities

Government Procurement & Strategic Partnering

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on all federal and state procurement processes, ensuring full compliance with FAR/DFARS or relevant state-level requirements.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and joint ventures to strengthen bid competitiveness.
  • Lead complex bid submissions and manage all related documentation, compliance, and reporting.

Contract Drafting & Risk Management

  • Review and negotiate client contracts to identify and mitigate risk, ensuring fair and favourable terms.

Negotiation & Contract Closure

  • Apply financial and analytical expertise to balance profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized follow-up process to ensure timely contract awards and signatures.

Proactive Business Development
  • Leverage bidding platforms and industry connections to identify and pursue new commercial and government opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the construction and procurement sectors.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Expert knowledge of construction contract law and proven experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Strong background in government procurement, including FAR/DFARS or state-level regulations.

  • High financial and analytical acumen to assess viability and optimize deal profitability.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

You’ll join an organization that values initiative, autonomy, and commercial acumen , giving you the authority to shape major contracts and influence revenue outcomes.

If you’re a closer who thrives on results , this is your chance to make a measurable impact and take your procurement career to the next level.
