Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Tool Enhancement: Improve the existing Skyweights tool to expand its scope for detecting weight anomalies in aircraft components and systems.
Data Analysis: Analyze Skywise data from multiple aircraft serial numbers (MSNs) to identify discrepancies between actual and predicted component weights.
Process Automation: Develop and implement a feature to automatically extract the owner siglum (the unique identifier for a team or department) associated with each flagged component.Reporting: Create an efficient process to report weight data errors directly to the respective sigla, facilitating prompt corrective action.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Mass Properties team and other engineering groups to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the developed solution.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of the code, methodologies, and findings.
Desired skills and qualifications
Data Analysis: A solid understanding of data analysis techniques and the ability to work with large datasets.
Programming: Proficiency in a programming language, preferably one used for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Python).
Problem-Solving: A curious mindset and strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with different teams.
Aerospace Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of aerospace engineering concepts, particularly in mass properties or flight physics, is a plus.
Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with the Skywise platform or similar big data platforms is beneficial but not required.
