Our PCU bridges critical care and medical-surgical services, caring for patients who require close monitoring and advanced nursing skills—while still allowing time to build meaningful patient connections.</div><div> The LPN provides direct patient care to individuals with complex medical conditions requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing support. Working collaboratively with registered nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members, the LPN assists with patient assessments, administers medications and treatments within scope of practice, monitors patient status, documents care accurately, and helps ensure exceptional patient outcomes. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment.</div><div>At North Alabama Medical Center, LPNs are valued team members who work alongside experienced providers in a supportive, collaborative environment. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.</div><ul><li>Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs </li><li>Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions </li><li>Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient </li><li>Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record </li><li>Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient </li><li>Performs timely and accurate QI assessments </li></ul><div><strong>Schedule: PRN Nights</strong></div><div><strong>What we’re looking for:</strong></div><div>Applicants should have a current state LPN license.
