Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)-PRN

Directs, modifies, and administers occupational therapy modalities and treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The COTA ensures patient charges are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. The COTA participates in operational aspects of the department, contributing to performance improvement and CQI activities. COTAs participate in all infection control, departmental equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs.
Education: Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate degree in occupational therapy.
Experience: New graduates will be considered.
Certification/License/Registration: Georgia license.
