Responsibilities:  

A successful Senior Business Analyst has a strong working knowledge of business trends and can read and analyze product and market trends. You should have strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills. We are looking for a Business Analyst to create and manage. 


You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a healthcare data acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we’d like to meet you. You will work first on projects that support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as we develop a next-generation system that directly impacts healthcare quality. 


Ultimately, you will:  

  • Under general supervision, formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across all applications built in the overall quality system. 
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in absence of actual users, across all areas of the system documenting findings in JIRA for future enhancements or fixes.  
  • Working with Human Centered Design and Scrum Teams, guide teams to the end user experience to achieve the best possible POCs and MVPs. 
  • As the SME you will be called upon to provide demonstrations of all areas of the system and how the various applications work together to meet the needs of the end users and our client. 
  • Perform analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties, as necessary.  
  • Guide and advise less experienced Business Analysts.  
  • Work competently in some phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment. 
  • Develop and update technical documentation. 
  • Support product vision workshops. 
  • Work with stakeholders, Product Owners, and agile team members to develop and prioritize concise and testable epics, features, and user stories. 

Requirements

Required Qualifications:  

  • All candidates must pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government. This requires candidates to either be U.S. citizens or pass clearance through the Foreign National Government System which will require that candidates have lived within the United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years, have a valid and non-expired passport from their country of birth and appropriate VISA/work permit documentation. 
  • Seven (7) years with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline or Ten (10) years of general information technology experience a degree is not required 
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst. 
  • Proven abilities to be collaborative and take initiative and be innovative. 
  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude. 
  • Experience with Agile methodology.  
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence.  
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.  
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; residing in the United States 
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.  

Desired Qualifications:  

  • Health Care Industry and/or CMS experience. 
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry.  
  • Federal Government contracting work experience. 
  • Experience work with the SAFe methodology.  

Working Environment: 

eSimplicity supports a remote work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by your manager. 

Occasional travel for training and project meetings. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
