Job Summary
The Corporate Intern will develop a solid understanding of the department they are in as well as the overall business. The internship aims to provide our interns with challenging, real-world projects specific to their career path. Works within the department on day to day projects; projects will include but not be limited to activities related to process improvement, project management, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assigned responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Works within the department on day to day projects; which include but are not limited to activities related to process improvement, project management, data support, reporting, documentation, and other assigned responsibilities.
- Builds relationships through meetings, events and one-on-ones with various employee owners and leaders.
- Focuses on real-world projects within the department.
- Collaborates with various departments throughout the company.
Department Responsibilities
- Works as part of the IT Data and Analytics team by supporting business intelligence and master data management functions that drive enterprise-wide business processes, reporting and decisions.
- Gains experience working with large quantities of raw, disorganized data through a wide variety of toolsets and technology, which include: SAP (ERP, BusinessObjects, Information Steward, Analytics Cloud, Build, etc.); and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, PowerBI, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Collaborates with business intelligence analysts and developers to support their enterprise reporting activities, which include: requirements gathering; prototyping; development of data models, reports, dashboards and visualizations; testing; and training.
- Aids in master data management initiatives to support enterprise-wide activities, which include: developing master data definitions, standards and business rules; leading data cleansing efforts across business units; creating and implementing data quality governance and lifecycle management policies and procedures; and generating master data quality metrics, dashboards and tracking.

- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
- Current student or new graduate (within last year) in a 2 or 4-year degree program.
- Strong knowledge of business office procedures, office equipment operation, data entry/keyboarding skills and communication systems helpful.
- Requires strong knowledge of PC for Windows and Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and OneNote).
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and reading skills.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize.
- Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
- Ability to work as a group or independently with minimal direction.
