Job Description
ECU Department of Anthropology is currently seeking a Federal Work Study student to serve as a Communications and Marketing Assistant for the Fall and Spring semesters.
This student will assist with promoting departmental events, programs, and initiatives through a variety of print and digital communications while providing general administrative support as needed.
Duties Include:
This student will assist with promoting departmental events, programs, and initiatives through a variety of print and digital communications while providing general administrative support as needed.
Duties Include:
- Assisting with the creation and scheduling of social media content.
- Designing department newsletters, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Coordinating projects with ECU Creative Services and Logo Review to ensure brand compliance.
- Updating department communications and marketing materials.
- Photographing and promoting department events and activities, as needed.
- Assisting faculty and staff with communication and marketing projects as assigned.
- Performing general office duties as assigned.
This position is for the full academic year 2026-27.
A graduate student is preferred; however, all students will be considered.
The department also prefers that the applicant has excellent customer service skills, be detailed oriented, and have the willingness to work with various groups of people.
