Principal Product Manager – AI

This role is based in our San Francisco office, where you will work on-site at least three days a week to maintain the close alignment needed for the highly innovative nature of your work. You will also collaborate closely with the AI Engineering team in Prague and several other product teams in San Francisco and Europe, with opportunities for travel.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy and product roadmap that prioritizes the most important AI capabilities, focusing on delivering highly differentiated value to our customers.
• Drive the design and development of new product capabilities and enhancements leveraging the rapid advances in AI & LLMs - technologies which are at the core of the product platform.
• Uncover and cultivate a deep understanding of customer needs essential for modern product organizations and their stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, product marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and alignment with business objectives.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competition, and best practices.
• Evangelize AI platform, newest trends and best practices of building AI products.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills by effectively translating complex concepts into actions.
• Act as an external advocate for modern customer-centric product management best practices among our customers and the broader market.

About you

• 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in Enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on experience and strong track record of building complex AI/ML products.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques, large language models, or other AI methods for text-based and structured data.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, data modeling, and MLOps.
• Experience in working on complex collaborative products that are architected as modular and extensible platforms or at least have some aspects of a modern platform approach.
• Strong track record of delivering products with cross-functional teams to the enterprise customers. Appreciation and understanding of the complex needs of large enterprise organizations.
• Highly skilled in conducting user research and building empathy with customers.
• Proficient in product management tooling and familiar with frameworks and methodologies such as lean, JTBD, agile, and various prioritization techniques.
• Experience with business intelligence and product analytics tools to measure success of your team’s efforts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to diverse audiences, including senior executives internally and externally.
• Proactive, curious, and independent, with a passion for solving broader problems, advancing your craft, and driving company-wide impact.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching junior colleagues, as well as leading across the company through indirect influence.
• Educational background in computer science, data science, or related practice.
