Purpose of Position:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Food Technologist to join our team, specializing in the development of chocolate products. In this role, you will support the Research and Development team throughout the entire process of creating new products—from defining innovative recipes to ensuring successful industrial-scale production. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving excellence and innovation at every stage of development

Description of main Activities/Responsabilities

• Project Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of new product development, from recipe creation and lab-scale prototypes to industrial production and commercialization, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Technical Support: Deliver specialized support to resolve product-related challenges, supporting customers, operations, quality, and providing technical guidance to sales teams.
• Customer Relations: Act as the primary technical point of reference for our clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering tailored recommendations and solutions. Participate in customer visits and plant trials, offering technical insights to ensure project success.
• Collaboration within departments: Frequent and continuous collaboration with Quality, Production, Purchasing and Marketing. 

Professional and Personal skills

• Education: Degree in Food Science & Technology.
• Professional Skills: Ability of Project Management, Customer-oriented mindset.
• Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in chocolate product.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Additional language skills are a plus.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Behavioural Requirements: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in dynamic context. Strong relationships skills.
