What you’ll build

You will help build the next generation of SAP Business AI for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), embedding LLMs, predictive forecasting, agents, and RAG directly into SAP’s financial core.

Our vision is to transform Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) into a decision‑intelligence hub that unifies data across finance, supply chain, and HR. Through agentic workflows and generative insights, we enable organizations to not only predict the future but to shape it, ensuring that every financial decision is grounded in deep, cross-functional context and global compliance. This AI‑native approach turns finance teams into strategic partners who can predict and shape future outcomes.

As a greenfield initiative, you’ll help define the technical architecture from scratch. Supported by SAP’s latest technologies — Business Technology Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Business AI — you’ll decide how to combine them into a category‑defining product.

Responsibilities

• Design and implementation of scalable back-end services that process massive volumes of financial data.
• Own your features from concept to production, focusing on resilience and the long-term maintainability of the codebase.
• Contribute to systems that ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance
• Support the core services that connect different parts of the application
• Help integrate the core platform with AI‑powered services, learning how systems communicate and share data
• Learn and apply best practices for resilient and reliable software in production environments
• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on long‑term stability and continuous improvement

What you bring

• 2-5 years of professional experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven skills in one or more programming languages
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: clean code, testing, Git/GitHub.
• Fluent English and a collaborative, growth‑oriented mindset.

 

Nice to have but not a must

• JavaScript, front-end or web programming skills
• Exposure cloud platforms (Azure ML, Databricks, AWS, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps and tools like MLflow.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals: clean code, testing, Git/GitHub.
