For a people person who wants to begin a career in the exciting world of HR, this is the best place to dive in. We’re searching for a qualified and resourceful human resources generalist to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations.

 

The Human Resources Generalist will have administrative responsibilities and will help with important HR functions with a primary focus on hourly staffing.  This person will be the key point of contact for and will provide critical support to candidates, employees, and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all administrative tasks for recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
  • Manage and maintain our human resources information systems (HRIS) ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide a dedicated and effective HR advisory service to employees and supervisors in answering employment-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the human resources team on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives such as recruitment strategies and onboarding experience.
  • Maintain and audit employee files to ensure compliance with employment laws
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Participating in HR activities and initiatives along with the team.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Human Resources related work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to deal comfortably with all levels of management
  • SAP, Employee Central, and/or Kronos experience preferred
