Job Description

• You will be responsible for leading a team within an international purchasing organization.
• Being responsible for the purchasing controlling, you will create standard and ad-hoc reports related to purchasing figures.
• You will analyze purchasing data, detection of improvement opportunities and process gaps.
• In cooperation with specialist groups within the organization, you will define purchasing processes.
• You will analyze concern directives and requirements and transform them into corporate purchasing processes.
• You will coordinate process implementation also with other departments, e.g., Controlling, Engineering Coordination, Logistics.
• In Cooperation with other departments, you will define and coordinate IT solutions for organizational purchasing.
• You will be the interface of organizational purchasing to concern purchasing regarding corporate directives, functional targets and working groups.
• You will take care of special tasks and task forces, e.g., environmental legislation and data collection and crisis management teams.

Qualifications

• Education: degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Personality and Working Practice: open, flexible and target group-oriented communication skills across management hierarchies as well as high level of resilience and assertiveness. Structured approach and entrepreneurial mindset in an international environment. High affinity for cross-departmental cooperation.
• Experience and Knowledge: at least five years of professional purchasing experience in Controlling / Purchasing Controlling, process definition and roll-out. Leadership experience both face-to-face and virtual / remote. Task force experience would be advantageous.
• Languages: fluent German and English language skills.
