We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and driven sr. professional in ING Procurement Netherlands.</span></p><p></p><p><span>From a Procurement perspective ING Netherlands has interests in a full and wide range of activities - everything related to IT, Marketing & Communications, Facility Management and Professional Services. All ING Netherlands’s purchasing activities in these fields are safeguarded by ING Procurement Netherlands. The exposure as well as the impact of this role is beyond the boundaries of Procurement. To be successful, you must have a strong passion for procurement and for setting high standards for yourself with a partnership mindset.</span></p><p></p><p><span>For this role, the ideal candidate will have gained procurement experience within the Professional Services area preferably in a financial regulatory environment. Your tasks include but are not limited to:</span></p><ul><li><span>Collaborating with key business partners at all level, acting as a trusted advisor to gain a clear understanding of the strategic direction and priorities, whilst working to ensure buy in to the ING Procurement Policy;</span></li><li><span>Increase efficiency by driving scale where it makes sense, decreasing fragmentation, pooling expertise of business and other Procurement colleagues, prioritising higher impact spend areas and minimising contractual risk;</span></li><li><span>Autonomously owning multi-million Euro and/or strategic procurement projects from cradle-to-grave, from gathering and challenging stakeholder requirements, determine the best fit procurement strategy to contract negotiation and award and any required following supplier relationship management requirements;</span></li><li><span>You know how to get new interesting players out of the market through tender processes, providing them with the right set of questions and leading the negotiation and selection process by developing and applying score cards;</span></li><li><span>You develop and lead supplier contract negotiations through preparation and focus on business, procurement and financial risks (i.e. cost, market, industry risks), ESG, Supplier Intelligence and Contract Cost/Price Modelling. This involves counterparty financial strength analysis, <span>intelligence/research,</span> pricing analytics, financial modelling, and presentation skills related to complex and high value contracts;</span></li><li><span>Your contract negotiations build in the required inherent regulatory and compliance clauses and schedules, designed to protect our customers, ourselves and our suppliers. You take ownership in subsequently measuring contract compliance and other key metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded, and system data remains up to date and accurate;</span></li><li><span>You are able to convert complex information from contracts or proposals into digestible content for stakeholders with whom you are responsible for the continuity of existing relationships. You conduct negotiations of existing contracts and challenge suppliers optimally supported by the strategy of the business.</span></li><li><span>You support with the Procurement Roadmap by achieving savings, control risks and support with the ING Bank Sustainable Future strategy.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>How to succeed</span></b> </p><p><span>We hire smart people like you for your potential. In return, we’ll back you to develop into an even more awesome version of yourself. </span></p><p><span>Furthermore, you have/are: </span></p><ul><li><span>Demonstrable experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of (complex) projects within the Professional Services category preferably in a financial regulatory environment.</span></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent work experience or equivalent levels of experience.</span></li><li><span>5+ years of work experience within Procurement and preferably CIPS Level 6 or Nevi Professional and Expert (1 & 2) certificate (or comparable).</span></li><li><span>Have all required skills and knowledge of the legal aspects of the Procurement field.</span></li><li><span>An excellent negotiator and clear and assertive c
