Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. seeks Competitive and Market Intelligence Senior Manager in Menlo Park, CA. **Telecommuting allowed for this position. 10% U.S. domestic travel required – infrequent international trips may arise.**

Job Description:  Co-create the market and competitive intelligence strategy. Create, refine and deliver on our research and intelligence strategy to win against our rivals in the new Customer Experience as

a Service Market - with agility, focus, integrity and scale. Stay abreast of market trends and activity. Use competitor announcements, news, personal relationships, financial and industry analyst reports and build a detailed understanding of key competitors' strategies, activities, and performance. Maintain a deep understanding of competitors' solutions, identifying strengths and weaknesses. Proactively make actionable recommendations and predictions for product management, marketing, sales, and the executive team. Support key corporate initiatives with market and competitive analyses. Assist sales, marketing & product with actionable competitive intelligence, talking points, tactics, and strategies to help win deals. Create and maintain competitive enablement materials such as battle cards, sales scenario guides, and market analysis documents. Measure and optimize. Help teams understand the impact of our intelligence. Identify patterns and share insights so we can quickly make data-driven decisions. Work with our partners in marketing, sales, product, business development, partners, industry analysts, consultants and more to understand our place in the market to communicate our competitive edge and help grow the company. **Telecommuting allowed for this position. 10% U.S. domestic travel required – infrequent international trips may arise.** (In general, this position requires 5 to 6 national trips per year, with each trip averaging 3-4 days (domestic, all within the U.S). International travel is required infrequently, with an average of one trip every two years. The nature of this business travel involves industry tradeshows and presenting at internal company events. Travel expenses are fully covered by the employer.)

Minimum Qualifications: The position requires a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management or related field plus one (1) year of experience in relevant occupation. Position requires any amount of experience in ALL of the following:

  • Experience in synthesizing technical, market, and competitive data to extract key insights tailored for stakeholders and diverse audiences.
  • Experience with business analysis techniques, including value chain analysis, encompassing comprehensive assessments of pricing strategies, distribution channels, and overall business operations.
  • Experience with Contact Center, CX market and WEM (Workforce Engagement) space
  • Experience in cloud-based platforms, APls and integrations

Salary range: $151,736 to $201,736

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$95,500.00 - $187,400.00
