Credentialing Analyst - Managed Care

Overview
Join our team as a Credentialing Analyst! In this role, you will assist with the administrative aspects of managed care credentialing applications. Your responsibilities will include gathering information needed by payors for contract submission, credentialing, maintenance, and contract changes.
As a Credentialing Analyst, you will track all contract expirations for follow-up with payors for agreement renewals, maintain credentialing spreadsheets, distribute information appropriately, and work with state Medicaid enrollment and maintenance.
This position is based at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206 but will be eligible for a hybrid schedule once fully trained.
Responsibilities
- Assist with managed care credentialing applications.
- Prepare and submit credentialing requests from payors; includes new contracts, credential and re-credential requests, and provider data updates.
- Submit accurate information to credentialing team, managed care team, and non-Medicare payors.
- Notify payors of updates to contracted facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of contracted payors in a spreadsheet and CRM.
- Update location W-9s and certificates of insurance (COI).
- Stay current with ownership changes, Medicare certification, license renewals, and accreditation certificates.
- Transition acquisition payor contracts and assess regional contracts for new branches.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor degree in healthcare, or related field. Demonstrated work experience in the healthcare field may be considered in lieu of a degree. Work experience may include a provider office, managed care organization, or other health care field.
- Previous home health credentialing or medical billing experience strongly preferred.
- Must be task and deadline-driven with excellent time management skills.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Must be adept at communicating with a broad range of individuals and possess excellent customer service skills.
