The Sr. Associate, Repair & Maintenance Engineering will manage all CAD and CAFM files on both the Ft Worth Campus Facilities SharePoint and within FM Interact. Fort Worth, TX, United States

Role duties and responsibilities:

• Update and maintain as-built and CAD files for all buildings, utilities, and CAFM files. This will ultimately include as-builts of HVAC, electrical, MEP, reflective ceiling plans, Fire protection, etc. as those have not been updated or cannot be found, either through projects or by files found on the network. We do not have those plans in place now but rely on A&D firms to survey and redraw each time, adding additional cost to every project done. (This will be a cost saver).

• Walk each building monthly and make updates to architecture and associate location.
• Update requests and completed projects on network dwg and FM System
• Maintain as-built CAD files to track projects and keep updated working files.
• Updated new projects as complete in dwg and CAFM tool. Update all components of project and polylines.
• Work with AMS and FM System on all items regarding FM Systems; workplace.

• Draw Space plans, review furniture orders, specs for accuracy and technical compliance (fire code safety, ADA compliance, etc.) as needed.
• Assist with furniture needs, inventory, orders, and plans as needed.
• Assist with Maximo and move requests for projects and day-to-day activities as needed.
• Backup for both space planning supervisor and move coordinator as needed. (This will help with 5-year growth plan)
• Assist with coordination of asset management.

Working hours:  1st Shift 8:00AM-5PM (Potentially some seldom work on weekends and afterhours)

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 4 Years of Relevant Experience

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:  

• Knowledge and ability to execute CARs
• Knowledge and ability to execute and manage POs and the PO process
• Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Project to effectively manage projects and planned maintenance
• Knowledge and ability to draft and execute projects through the Engineering Change Order process (ECOs)
• Investigator Certification
