Position Summary

General Atlantic is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of IT Product Management to lead our global product management function within the technology organization. This individual will oversee the design, delivery, and optimization of enterprise technology platforms that support our investment, operations, and business support functions. This role requires deep expertise in product management, systems thinking, and stakeholder alignment across a global investment management business. The position will report to the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise IT product strategy, roadmap, and delivery priorities across core systems (e.g., CRM, portfolio monitoring, fund accounting, data platforms)
• Conduct market analysis and assess competitive positioning to inform product evolution
• Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders across investment teams, operations, and support functions to translate needs into scalable product solution
• Oversee and coach a team of product managers to ensure effective execution across product lifecycles, from discovery and MVP design through delivery and optimization
• Drive a build-vs-buy analysis approach to inform decision-making on major platform initiatives
• Create clear business cases for product investments, articulating benefits, timelines, and resource needs
• Collaborate closely with application development, data, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
• Develop frameworks for product prioritization, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting
• Institute best practices for Agile product management and cross-functional delivery models
• Establish and track KPIs to measure product performance, platform adoption, and ROI
• Champion user-centric design, business process optimization, and adoption strategies

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product management leadership roles within investment management, private equity, or capital markets
• Proven ability to drive technology transformation and scale enterprise platforms in complex, multi- stakeholder environments
• Strong understanding of front-to-back investment workflows (deal sourcing, diligence, onboarding, portfoli
