Customer Architect

Nokia of America Corporation, Customer Architect (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX. 

SALARY RANGE: $151,466 - $200,200 per year 

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) 

Develop customer specific architecture and high-level and low-level solution design involving Nokia Subscriber Domain Management (SDM), IP Multimedia Systems (IMS) and Voice over LTE/5G products, systems and services. Interface with customers to gather customer requirements and create detailed technical solution descriptions, including new 5G/4G solution components and impacts to existing solution components. Support the delivery architecture of Nokia 5G and IMS solutions for telecom operators. Assist with appropriate product-attached services team to develop and review product -attached services delivery estimates. Provide accurate scoping and solution inputs to Presales and Project Management for developing Statement of Work and Schedules. Apply and adhere to solution architecture standards, processes, and principles to create and maintain a solution's (technical) integrity. Provide support for Post sales team and ensure smooth handover of the solution architecture to delivery architecture teams and assist Project Management with detailed project planning. #LI-DNI

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 6 years of experience (of which 5 years must be post-bachelor’s, progressive). Or a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience. 

 

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: 4G and 5G mobile Networks, including IP Multimedia Systems (IMS), Voice over 4G/5G, Subscriber Domain Management (SDM); SDM, IMS and VoX deployments, integration, and migrations; Pre-sales and solution architecture for IMS, VoX, and SDM solutions; Develop and deliver Proof of Concepts and Demos; Cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, Container Network Interface (CNI), Channel State Information (CSI), Service Mesh, Docker and OpenStack; and Complex and multi-vendor environments, including multi- vendor products, applications and cloud solutions. 

 

Domestic travel is required up to 10%.

 

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 60%.
