Job Summary

 

We seek a talented, enthusiastic, and experienced .NET application developer responsible for contributing toward the design, architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise-level software applications.  You will work under the guidance of an engineering manager and senior engineers to develop API’s, custom software, and components to deliver meaningful and impactful solutions to the organization. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

 

• Contribute to the design, architecture, coding, testing, and deployment of application components.
• Produce quality code according to system design and technical standards.
• Submit all code for review against organizational and team standard while also performing code reviews of teammates.
• Ability to debug and determine solutions to issues or problems that arise.
• Review design documentation and other artifacts to determine a development solution and a path forward.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

 

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS, or comparable work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software application using the C#/.NET Frameworks or .NET Core.
• Experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservice orientated architecture
• Experience using source control (preferably git)
• Experience with project management tools that track progress of development (Azure, TFS, Jira, etc.)
• Experience with test driven development
• Knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles
• Knowledge of modern software lifecycle development practices
• Ability to communicate effectively

Preferred Skills and Experience

 

• Experience with Azure
• Experience with Docker and container registries
• Experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Data Bricks
• Knowledge of data analytics systems (PowerBI, Graphana, etc.)
