Job Description

You will play a key role in our growing Software Team as a (Senior) Verification Engineer, leveraging your expertise in software testing methodologies, including a solid understanding of various testing strategies (e.g., functional, regression, performance, unit testing) and their implementation in a software verification context. By ensuring high-quality software for cutting-edge medical devices and research systems, you will contribute to advancing life sciences and healthcare through innovative solutions.

• Join our growing Software Team as (Senior) Verification Engineer. In our Software Platform team you participate in developing the Miltenyi Biotec software platform for medical devices and research systems.
• You are part of a cross-functional agile team and cooperate with product owners, software developers, other verification and DevOps engineers on a daily basis.
• Software verification, validation and an elevated level of test automation is your mission.
• You are responsible to plan, create, document and execute test cases to ensure a high software product quality. In case of findings, you closely collaborate with software developers and product owners to help eliminate them.
• Backed up by your knowledge and experience, you contribute to continuously improve the team performance and our test processes.

Qualifications

• You have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, with proven professional experience as a Software Developer or Software Verification Engineer.
• You are experienced with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), including familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins) for automated build and testing workflows.
• You are proficient in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably C++, while additional language skills are also valued. Hands-on experience with tools such as Robot Framework, Squish for Qt and API testing tools like JMeter or Postman.
• You are comfortable working with Linux-based systems and also have experience with Windows environments.
• Strong agile mindset, with a solution-oriented, proactive, self-organized and pragmatic approach to work in an international setting.
