Responsibilities:
This role is accountable for delivery and sales support of Line & Price Specialty Solutions to the North America region as well as meeting financial targets in the region. The role requires being a strategic partner to internal teams and ensuring excellence in client service and insights delivery. Responsibilities include:
Supporting scoping and sales of Line & Price solutions:
- Pursues new business from existing and potential clients, working with Account Development and Specialty Sales to drive NIQ business results through consultative selling
- Consults of design, cost, and timing of Line & Price projects
- Independently leads client meetings and conducts external presentations as appropriate
- Understands full Innovation eco-system/process, including NIQ’s competitive environment, preferred agencies, tools
Delivering best in class insights and help our clients achieve better innovation outcomes:
- Serve as a key leader for client relationships, understanding business needs, and driving to better innovation outcomes
- Assists in handling sensitive client discussions, escalating to VP where appropriate
- Acts as final reviewer for project work
- Aligns the customer success team with client needs - provides relevant client background, history and other NIQ analytics
- Ensures client deliverables are consistent with client business decisions and strategy
- Manages client reaction to any project issues and seeks quick resolution to overcome challenges
Meeting group revenue goals:
- Contributes to the revenue management process for client group, including development and review of pipeline and plans to drive repeat engagement
- Reviews final job costs and accounting reports
- Reviews and approves proposals – ensure optimal pricing
Talent Development:
- Develops managerial and client service capabilities in mid-level individuals
- Provides input on talent decisions and movement
- Provides input on hiring and termination decisions
- Conducts interviews with potential candidates over the phone and in-person to help fill open positions on the team
- Provides coaching, mentoring and feedback to customer success teams
Corporate contributions
- Contributing leader within both the L&P Leadership team and the broader BASES/NIQ leadership team to identify opportunities to enhance/accelerate our business
- Contribute to product development, best practices, analytic team, operation of a business unit, client tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years’ consultative selling experience
- Understanding of NIQ BASES products and services and broader NIQ solutions that impact innovation; preferred
- Understanding of discrete choice modeling and pricing theory
- Builds deep client relationships and viewed as a trusted advisor
- Meets revenue targets, and grows relationships with clients
- Provides meaningful coaching to Associate Managers and Managers in Line & Price, and indirect coaching and feedback to junior level associates
- Ability to manage client expectations through the life-cycle of a project, ensuring client satisfaction by providing feedback, insights and updates in a timely manner
- Consistently drives success of projects
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Drives successful Innovation outcomes for clients
- Able to act independently
