The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will spend the majority of their time overseeing their area of responsibility, managing performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports.

    •    Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
    •    Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
    •    Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
    •    Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
    •    May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
    •    Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
    •    Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
    •    Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
    •    Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Requires 3+ years of experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree 
  • Experience managing building mechanical systems repair and installation techs (HVAC/Electrical)
  • Experience with design requirements generation for HVAC and ductwork systems
  • Budget ownership and management for facilities functions including salary and discretionary spend
  • Demonstrated use of maintenance planning software (CMMS) such as “Maximo”/Mainsaver to optimize planning/scheduling and utilization of personnel and equipment
  • Facilities leadership experience covering medical devices industries building.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive improved asset reliability and management through application of maintenance excellence principals
  • Nice to have CDL class B with tank endorsement, certification can be supported in this role
