Business Partner/ Analyst - Commercial FP&A (EMEA)

Location: Arnhem (NL)* / Kleve (DE)

*We are moving from our current HQ Arnhem office (next to train station Arnhem Centraal) to a new office in central Utrecht in the summer of 2025.

Purpose

You will provide strategic and decision-making support to the Manager Commercial FP&A and EMEA business stakeholders with $1B annual sales, encompassing all divisions and product categories.

Activities & Responsibilities

• Supporting the further development of the Commercial FPA function for EMEA.
• Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis in support of the performance review cycles
• Build and develop strategic pricing models leveraging available market data and insights
• Establish, standardize and maintain customer- and channel profitability models
• Development of a “tender“- or “deal”- model for use in calculation, analyzing and tracking of new business
• Collaborate and support the commercial business analysts on bonus/promo calculations, -forecasts and accruals
• Supporting decision-making and other ad-hoc projects (including M&A, PMI activities, scenario modeling)
• Serve as backup to the Manager Commercial FP&A.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting

Relevant Work Experience

• At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting and/or analysis experience.
• At least 3 years of experience providing financial advice and counsel to P&L/business owners.
• Experience in supporting and/or leading strategic decision making and goal setting initiatives.
• Experience in supporting and/or leading profit improvement initiatives.
• Experience working within a commercial finance team

Additional

• Excellent financial modeling skills
• Fluency in English required (French is considered a plus)
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, PPT and ERP financial systems.
• Experience with PowerBI, SQL, SAP or Tableau a plus
• Willingness to travel for business purposes (mainly Europe)
• Prior experience in healthcare and/or at Medline, experience at Medline US is preferred
