If you have any questions or require any accommodations to support you in your application, please contact us at recruit@aerlingus.com.</p><h2>Vacancy details</h2><h3> Role title </h3><p id="fldjobdescription_jobtitle">Finance Business Partner Flight Operations &amp; Inflight Services</p><h3> Your role </h3> <p><p>Reporting to the Manager Finance Business Partnering, the Finance Business Partner for Flight Operations (Pilots) &amp; Inflight Services (Cabin Crew / Inflight Retail) acts as a strategic liaison between the finance department and other areas of the business, helping to drive performance, support decision-making and align financial planning with broader business objectives.</p><p><strong>Context</strong></p><p>The Aer Lingus Finance organisation is divided into Finance Operations, Financial Reporting &amp; Forecasting, Finance Transformation &amp; Data, and Finance Business Partnering. The Finance Business Partner team supports business operations through expertise, guidance, and decision support. The role collaborates cross-functionally with departments such as Strategy and Planning, Customer, Operations, Technology, Fleet, Maintenance and Support.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Principle Accountabilities / Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide finance business partner services to Executives and senior management in the Flight Operations &amp; Inflight Services Functions on an independent basis.</li><li>Become a trusted and critical finance business partner, in particularly in relation to contract and industrial negotiations.</li><li>Lead the extraction of insights and conclusions from financial information and drive the operational business agenda as a partner and, if needed, counterweight to the Executive and senior management team members. Propose and support development of improvement / follow up actions; engage with business leaders in securing implementation</li><li>Take ownership of explaining, interpreting and analysing financial results relating to the Flight Operations &amp; Inflight Services Functions. Manage strategic and tactical KPIs, provide depth and precision to KPIs and bring insights to senior team.</li><li>Make a meaningful impact on corporate results by working with the functional management of the Flight Operations &amp; Inflight Services functions to identify, evaluate, select and implement medium to long term initiatives to exploit revenue / commercial opportunities and address commercial and operational challenges. Promote external benchmarking and best practice sharing initiatives.</li><li>Responsible for budget and revenue / cost elements across the Flight Operations &amp; Inflight Services area.</li><li>Take responsibility for providing transparency and insight on results and forecasted performance; propose and support development of improvement / follow up actions; engage with business leaders in securing implementation</li><li>Coordinate monthly review process, budgeting and forecasting for the Flight Operations &amp; In
