The Austin District with TxDOT is seeking a GIS Analyst IV to support the District Maintenance Office. This position performs advanced geographic information systems (GIS) data development, integration, and analysis. Responsibilities also include producing maps and graphics and extracting, analyzing, and reporting data. The role provides technical assistance and support for transportation related activities or projects. Work requires contact with government agencies. Employees at this level may serve as a Lead Worker or Project Leader, establish their own work plans and priorities to meet set objectives, and resolve issues independently with minimal supervisory involvement.
