Note: This is a hybrid position, working 3 days a week from the office, and my be located at our offices within our service terratory in Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas. The selected candidate will be placed as an Analyst I or II based on education, experience, and demonstrated success at the Analyst level. Those outside of this area will need to relocate for this opportunity. Relocation assistance is not available for this posting.
Job Summary/Purpose
This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of support functions for State and System level transmission and distribution vegetation operations under general supervision of Sr. Analysts, Supervisors, and Managers. Support functions include but are not limited to invoicing, contracts, work management, regulatory, compliance, budget, safety processes, and any other analytical functions needed for the success and promotion of the Vegetation Management Program. This position works routinely with Vegetation Management, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support for Power Delivery Vegetation.
- Review and verify invoices related to vegetation management; and ensure that charges align with contract terms, scope of work, and work orders.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing contract requisitions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Recognize data inconsistencies and irregularities and report issues to senor analysts.
- Provide excellent service to internal/external partners by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly, while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Support the resolution for IT issues associated with the various applications/systems used daily.
- Ensure that vegetation operations meet regulatory requirements by maintaining up to date documentation and ensuring compliance with local, state, and/or federal regulations related to vegetation management.
- Closely monitor allocated budgets, track spending, and ensure accurate and timely accruals are recorded.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate records related to work processes, tasks, and projects to ensure information is organized and accessible for effective decision-making and reporting.
- Assume the role of crew tracker during Incident Response to monitor and manage the location, availability, and activities of internal/external restoration teams.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience. Desired: Master’s Degree
Minimum experience required of the position
- Analyst I: 0+ years of professional experience.
- Analyst II: 2+ years of professional experience.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
Desired: Experience with IBM Maximo, Contract Requisitions, Budget Tracking/Reconciliation, Microsoft PowerBI, and Collaboration tools
