Required Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of all applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, including TJC and federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines (i.e. OSHA, HAZMAT, DOH, EPA).
Understanding of infection control.
The ability to present ideas and information in a concise, timely, effective and interpersonally appropriate manner through written and oral form.
Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train, coach, and develop others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Description
The EVS Team Lead / Shift Supervisor, under the direction of the Manager, will oversee shift quality and job completion as well as timekeeping and scheduling for staff on the shift. They will maintain environmental services to ensure a safe, sanitary, and clean environment for all patients, visitors, and employees. The Team Lead will organize, supervise, and control operations of the Environmental Services Department and uphold all applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements, including TJC, federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines (i.e. OSHA, HAZMAT, DOH, EPA). The Team Lead will function as the lead trainer for the shift including new hire orientation. They will support the hospital mission and will hold staff accountable for performance. Will motivate staff and maintain operations of the department.Qualifications
