Job Description Summary:

We are seeking qualified individuals for our teaching restaurant Eatery ‘73 and Grab & Go at Austin Community College. Dish machine operators are a crucial part of our restaurant operations to ensure seamless service for our guests and help keep the kitchen clean and sanitized for service. 

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Restaurant experience is a plus

• Must be able to frequently carry up to 20 lbs.

• Must be able to occasionally carry up to 50 lbs.

• Operate dish machine fluently: changing chemicals, taking apart, and cleaning.

• Consistent maintenance and monitoring of dish machine operation.

• Must be able to stack, walk, and move during the entire shift including frequent bending and stooping.

• Display a thorough working knowledge of food safety & sanitation standards regarding 3-compartment sink washing and sanitation procedures, equipment & floor cleaning, and sanitation procedures. 

• Must be positive, collaborative, and committed to healthy communication and quality work

$20/hour (up to 19 hours/week)
