A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Provides project or program support to a functional group or business process.
- Monitors program/project/system status, budgets and timetables.
- Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
- Gathers and compiles information for reports.
- Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and coding.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires advanced practical knowledge within a specific discipline typically gained through extensive work experience and/or education.
- Requires minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 4-year college degree preferred.
- Assists with Employee Morale Activities (and ERG’s) of the site to keep a positive company culture and an adherence to the Medtronic Mission.
- Prepares travel and purchase orders for Distribution Operations as assigned.
- Co-ordinates external and internal requests for information and tours
- Serves as the site liaison for Kronos
- Prepares the site the Distribution Newsletter
- Serves as the site Communications lead by composing and sending communications to employee population as needed.
- Coordinates the Distribution town hall and other special events/meals.
- Time management skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in past-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities.
- Problem-solving skills and diplomacy
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong communications and time management skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Proficient in use of modern technology
- Extensive experience with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT)
- Experience in executive admin support
- Broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices.
- A continuous learner who adapts quickly and positively to change
- An active listener and clear communicator
