Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior BASIS and Security Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading the technical aspects of SAP BASIS and Security administration, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP BASIS administration, security management, and a proven track record in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the SAP BASIS and Security team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

- Design, implement, and manage SAP system landscapes, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, and other SAP applications.

- Oversee and perform system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.

- Implement and manage SAP security policies, roles, and authorizations.

- Monitor system performance, conduct performance tuning, and troubleshoot technical issues.

- Develop and maintain documentation for SAP BASIS and Security processes and procedures.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with other enterprise applications.

- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.

- Stay current with SAP technologies and best practices, providing recommendations for improvements and innovations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration and SAP Security.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, including S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and Solution Manager.

- Proven experience with system installations, upgrades, patches, and migrations.

- Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC) and authorization management.

- Experience with performance tuning, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- SAP certifications in BASIS and Security are preferred.
