The UX Researcher leads a team of researchers in discovering actionable user insights that inform product strategy and design decisions. This role is responsible for establishing and scaling research methodologies that uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points across complex product ecosystems. The UX Research Lead translates research findings into strategic recommendations that drive user-centered product development and business impact.
Role Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive research strategies aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives
Establish rigorous research methodologies, tools, governance, and best practices
Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to identify and prioritize research opportunities
Oversee multiple research initiatives across qualitative and quantitative methods
Translate complex research findings into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels
Advocate for user-centered decision making throughout the organization
Build scalable research operations that maximize impact while optimizing resources
Measure and communicate the business impact of research activities
Role Requirements
6+ years of user experience research in a product-focused environment
Deep expertise in various research methodologies (usability testing, interviews, surveys, field studies, diary studies, analytics integration)
Strong understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research approaches and when to apply each
Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy through research insights
Experience developing research programs that scale across multiple product areas
Excellent communication skills with ability to synthesize complex findings into compelling narratives
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Background in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related disciplines
Master's degree or PhD in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, or related field preferred

Salary
The base salary range is $127,000-$159,000 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
