EquipmentShare is Hiring a Retail Sales Inventory Manager 

EquipmentShare is searching for a Retail Sales Inventory Manager to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail sales inventory including but not limited to forecasting, ordering, receiving, monitoring inventory stock levels, and managing floor plan due dates of all retail sales machines and attachments. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate on hand inventory for each retail sales location and ensuring that all incoming and outgoing stock of machines and attachments is up to date to ensure accurate inventory levels across all retail locations.

Primary Responsibilities

  •  Establish and maintain forecasting models to better manage current and future inventory levels
  • Monitor stocking levels and identify shortages
  • Understand each brand’s floor plan term period, monitor assets according to these time periods, and communicate to each sales team what is coming due and when the assets are coming due
  • Display a clear understanding each brand’s dealer portal order process
  • Maintain a real time up to date inventory list for all sales reps and retail management, by location
  • Record daily inventory adjustments - incoming inventory, outgoing sales and dealer transfers
  • Place orders to replenish inventory and forecast orders for future sales needs
  • Submit and request purchase order with each new order
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, supply issues or any other concerns
  • Monitor and ensure proper change of ownership between IES and ES when changes occur
  • Keep accurate list of machine age due to floor plan terms
  • Send out monthly maturing list so reps know which machines need sold first and management is aware of what inventory is aging off of floor plan
  • Ensure all machines and attachments have asset numbers assigned
  • Convert stock orders to retail orders as needed
  • Assist with trade in evaluations and maintain the trade in process for each location
  • Assist all sales representatives in locating  needed machines and attachments. This would include coordinating with our different manufacturer partners, or with other dealers
  • Assist with seasonal ordering writing processes
  • Assist with hauling and delivery of machines as needed to the different locations
  • Assist with sales quotes with regards to PPP, aftermarket insurance needs, etc.

We are looking for someone with availability to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.    

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Up to 5 to 10 years of dealership industry experience with a background in asset management.
  • Have the ability to work and collaborate with departments across the organization
  • You have exceptional organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • You’re a team player through and through 
  • You have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. 
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. 
  • You have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • You can adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and service
