Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect - Network to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our organization's network architecture. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of network technologies, architecture, and industry trends, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities

1.    Develop and maintain the organization's network architecture strategy and roadmap, including:
-    Network topology and infrastructure design
-    Network protocol and technology standards (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
-    Network security architecture and compliance
-    Network operations and management processes
2.    Lead the design and implementation of network solutions, including:
-    LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and cloud connectivity
-    Network virtualization and segmentation
-    Software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV)
-    Network automation and orchestration
3.    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network integration with other systems and applications, including:
-    Data center and cloud infrastructure
-    Unified communications and collaboration
-    Security and identity management
-    IT service management and monitoring
4.    Conduct network assessments and analyze existing infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, including:
-    Network performance and capacity planning
-    Network security vulnerability assessments
-    Network compliance and regulatory audits
5.    Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standards, including:
-    Network architecture diagrams and documentation
-    Network configuration and change management
-    Network security policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Networking, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in network architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Experience with network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with network management and monitoring tools (e.g. SNMP, Syslog, etc.).
  • Certification in network architecture or engineering (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV).

Nice to Have

1.    Experience with network automation and scripting (e.g. Python, Ansible, etc.).
2.    Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL, etc.).
3.    Certification in network security or related field (e.g. CISSP, etc.).
4.    Experience with Agile development methodologies.
5.    Strong understanding of business operations and processes.
6.    Certification in architecture or related field (TOGAF, Azure Architect, AWS Certified Architect)
