Job Description

We're at the forefront of developing next-generation directed energy solutions that are transforming modern defense capabilities.  Our work on the U.S. Army's Enduring High Energy Laser (E-HEL) weapon systems program represents a significant investment in the cutting-edge technology designed to counter emerging threasts.  We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to manage the integration and testing of the systems engineering processes for a new project.  The position involves providing engineering support to the integration, testing/acceptance and delivery of systems, structures, components, and software.  Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems.

Targeted Salary Ranges:

Systems Test Engineer Mid Levels 2-3 - $73,261 - $130,000

Systems Test Engineer Senior Levels 4-5 - $104,304 - $190,000

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

•    Perform system integration and verification / validation testing of system requirements. 
•    Support technical planning and evaluations of alternatives including cost and risk, supportability, and manufacturability. 
•    Communicate task status with clarity and brevity. 
•    Identify, articulate, and manage risks. 
•    Manage internal and external relationships. 
•    Create and maintain various reports. 
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineers, to ensure a cohesive and effective system design.  
•    Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.  

Minimum Qualifications

•    Mid Level:  2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
•    Mid to Senior Level:  5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. 
•    Senior Level:  9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. 
•    Senior Lead Level:  15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

•    Experience authoring and implementing system test plans and leading system integration efforts. 
•    Experience working within government contracts. 
•    Technical and problem-solving intuition. 
•    Ability to anticipate and mitigate programmatic implications of system challenges. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with government stakeholders, company leadership, and technical subject
