HR Generalist I or II

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years of HR experience in an exempt role or similar experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday desired, but not required
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
Self-starter with the ability to independently prioritize the needs of the plant and HR function
Trusted resource and talent coach to support plant leadership and front-line leaders
Effective oral and written communication across multiple levels within the organization
Key Responsibilities:
Culture and Engagement
Support and maintain Printpack Culture including Trust, Collaboration, and Teamwork
Support, build, and maintain associate engagement at all levels
Champion a positive culture among internal and external customers

Safety and Compliance
Support safety initiatives to ensure a safe and clean workplace
Support compliance with company policies/procedures and applicable laws (EEO, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation)
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
Recruitment and Onboarding
Create and edit job requisitions and job postings
Work with Talent Acquisition through the recruiting process
Partner with leadership by participating in onsite interviews and candidate selection
Support the onboarding process for new associates including conducting new-hire orientation, assisting with benefit enrollment, conducting stay interviews, and providing training support
Human Resource Development
Support HR development processes: job descriptions, performance evaluations, individual development plans, training, and career development
Serve as Workday Learning Coordinator, creating and modifying training curriculum
Lead HR-related projects, including plant and company-wide initiatives (charitable giving, job fairs, rewards/recognition, etc.)
Benefits and Leave Administration
Manage benefits administration, including Open Enrollment and qualifying events
Support employee requests for leaves of absence
Employee Relations and Support
Serve as support in employee relations issues, including discipline process, investigations, and coaching
Act as an HR Business Partner to all Supervisors, Leads, and Managers
Support the local HR Manager
Affirmative Action and Diversity - develop the Affirmative Action Plan and facilitate action plans to address identified gaps
Payroll and Time Management
Maintain and monitor plant time-keeping records and oversee payroll
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
Administrative Tasks
Administer and coordinate HR policies and programs
Maintain employee records
Update job knowledge through continuous learning and professional networking
