Position Overview

Verra Mobility is seeking a Senior Full Stack .Net Developer candidate to contribute to the development and quality of our future and existing technology products.  This position will assist in the building of new platforms on cloud technologies that diversify our portfolio as well as enhancing the technical platforms that drive of our core business.

Essential Responsibilities

• Work in agile environment to ensure that all functionality is properly designed, developed, tested, and delivered per prescribed requirements.
• Document, maintain and enhance legacy applications written in VB6, ASP, VBScript, and other similar legacy technologies. Work with product team to develop migration plan.
• Create and follow design documentation to develop and enhance applications written in C# utilizing the Azure technologies (Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, etc.), .NET Core, .NET Framework 5.0, Xamarin, .NET MVC, Entity Framework, ASP.NET, Open Api, JavaScript, Knockout JS, Vue JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, CSS, Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Actively participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are enforced and adequate code coverage is maintained.
• Develop and document test plans, automated test cases, regression tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Integrate automated testing into Azure Pipelines to ensure quality at build and deployment.
• Hands on experience with Release Management, CI/CD setup.
• Utilize Azure templates and Coded Infrastructure to create and update environments on demand.
• Understand the effect of iterative development and release management processes dictated by an Agile Scrum environment.
• Work with product teams, scrum teams, and internal groups to ensure customer requirements are being developed and adequately tested.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
• Provide technical assistance to end users by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or technical questions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Mentoring and guide best practices to associate level team members.
• Accessing registered owner and vehicle information

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of SOLID design principles
• Minimum 8 years’ experience with developing and enhancing applications written .Net Technologies.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with unit testing (TDD experience preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with test automation
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Experience developing in an Agile SCRUM environment.
