Embedded Software Engineer (DSP, Real-Time Systems & Audio)

We take pride in fostering a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.</p></div><p><strong>Workplace: </strong>On-site, In-Office, 5 days per week<br><strong>Location:</strong> Palo Alto, CA</p> <p>TI DSP expertise to own real-time subsystem bring up, audio pipeline enablement, and safety subsystem integration for the Mediatek C-X1 infotainment dev kit platform.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Lead bring up and integration of the DSP subsystem and safety processor on the infotainment dev kit platform<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Own real-time audio pipeline: codec integration, audio HAL, latency characterization and validation<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Integrate and validate safety subsystem: lockstep cores, safety monitors, FTTI analysis<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Serve as primary technical interface with DSP firmware, tools, and support<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Validate real-time performance and audio quality against Ok2Book acceptance criteria<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Document DSP and audio subsystem bring-up state for program gate review</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications&nbsp;</strong><br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • 5+ years' embedded SW; 5+ years focused on TI DSP platforms (C7xxx, C66x, or equivalent)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Strong RTOS expertise: TI SYS/BIOS, FreeRTOS, or equivalent real-time OS<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Audio subsystem bring up: ALSA, audio HAL, codec integration (I2S, SoundWire)<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Safety subsystem experience: lockstep, self-test libraries, FTTI modeling<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • C/C++ (bare-metal and RTOS), TI Code Composer Studio toolchain<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; • Hardware debug: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, JTAG</p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications&nbsp;</strong>
