Depalitizer Operator

Position Summary

In the position of Depalitizer Operator you will ‐‐ Operate machines that perform one or more packaging functions such as banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers. Work with others and communicate effectively to prevent long periods of downtime.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Follow set up and shut down/changeover processes ‐‐ check recipe for product, verify film type and size, correct packaging, fiber usage, and glue pots.
• Operate case packers and shrink wrapper machines in “manual” and “automatic” operations. Perform minor adjustments to metering bar and adjust film rolls as appropriate. Feed fiber, film rolls, and glue case packing devices. Replenish packaging supplies such as fiber, film rolls, and glue.
• Plan and stage upcoming production needs with raw materials. Perform the required testing, monitoring, and recording of packaging checks.
• Operate coders, glue pots, video jet, UPC labeler, and bailer machines for “manual” and “automatic” operations.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 1‐3 years of experience in beverage production facility
• Computer Skills Desired: Must have minimum skills with Office Suite/PC
• Preferred Certifications: N/A
• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Must show basic knowledge of the English language

Pay Range: $15.80/hr - $18.60/hr
