Core Responsibilities

• Driving to and from job sites

• Collection of various samples

• Performing quality assurance tests and observations

• Preparing and submitting daily reports

• Interacting with clients, contractors, and other engineering professionals

You’ll thrive here if you

• Have ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I and SB102, 1A and 1B certifications a must

• 0-5 years of experience working in the construction industry

• Working knowledge of asphalt pavements

• Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred

• Knowledge of TXDOT testing procedures relating to asphalt materials

• Proficiency in preparing and documenting test result in accordance with TXDOT standards and project requirements

• Ability to use and navigate Site Manager and Metafield is a plus.

• Must be willing to transition from field testing and inspection duties to laboratory test responsibilities as needed

• Ability to travel 20% of the time & willing to work "off hours" when needed up to 60 hours per week.
