Job Description:

AFS is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to be part of a team of highly qualified professionals that provide expertise in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Systems Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Assess and calculate the technical features of a project plan to ensure that the systems engineering procedures are operating correctly • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes 
• Participate in the modernization and design of information and operational support systems 
• Assist the customer in evaluating existing systems and provide technical direction in conjunction with the Cloud Solution Architects 
•  Ensure a rapid response to any technical issues • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Fifteen years’ experience in designing and implementing information management systems may substitute for academic degree.
• Ten years’ experience designing and implementing information management systems.
• Three years within the past five years of experience in product development, requirements generation, and testing methodologies, including direct control and responsibility over subordinate engineers working requirements, design, implementation, and testing of distributed cloud applications and services.
• Three years within the past five years of experience in development, implementation, and administration of multi-tenant, enterprise web- based solutions using automated processes and tools to perform system availability and integrity monitoring, validate security and configuration compliance, and ensure sensitive data protection.
• Three years within the past five years of experience with commercial cloud service providers engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial cloud services (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure).

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.      
 
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role    
California: $122,600 - $234,900 
Colorado: $122,600 - $202,900 
New York: $113,500 - $234,900 
Washington: $130,500 - $215,900
